Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how SIA “Explovis” processes the personal data of visitors to the website of Explovis at explovis.com (the “Website”) and of people who write to us.

The pages of the game One Day It Blooms on the Website, and the game itself, are covered by the separate One Day It Blooms Privacy Policy.

The Policy has been drawn up in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the General Data Protection Regulation, the “GDPR”) and the Personal Data Processing Law of the Republic of Latvia.

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising and do not take decisions based solely on automated processing.

The controller of your personal data is SIA “Explovis”, a limited liability company (sabiedrība ar ierobežotu atbildību) registered in the Commercial Register of the Republic of Latvia (the “Company”, “we” or “us”):

The Website consists of static pages hosted by GitHub, Inc. (GitHub Pages). It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising tools or content loaded from other websites, and it has no forms or user accounts.

When you open a page, your browser sends GitHub your IP address and the technical data of the request, such as the time, the address of the page and the type of browser. GitHub logs IP addresses for security purposes as an independent controller (GitHub Privacy Statement). We do not receive these logs.

The Website links to our profiles on social networks. Nothing is sent to a social network until you follow such a link; from then on, the privacy policy of that network applies.

When you write to us by email, we process your email address, your name if you give it, the content of your message and any attachments, in order to read and answer your message.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where your message concerns a contract with us, the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Our email is provided by Hostinger, which processes messages on our behalf as a processor.

We keep messages until your request is resolved and for 12 months thereafter, unless they are needed for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

GitHub and Hostinger may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework in respect of certified recipients (Article 45 GDPR), or the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR).

Subject to the conditions laid down in the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data and obtain a copy of it, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Articles 15 to 18 and 21 GDPR).

Requests shall be sent to support@explovis.com. We shall respond within one month of receipt of the request (Article 12(3) GDPR).

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of the Republic of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija) or with the supervisory authority of the EU Member State of your habitual residence or place of work (Article 77 GDPR).

We may amend this Policy when the Website or the applicable law changes. The current version of the Policy and its effective date are indicated at the top of this page.
